Details: The Canal & River Trust received a grant from Sport England to help reduce the negative impact of COVID-19 and the widening of the inequalities in sport and physical activity for the communities of Sefton. We teamed up with HYPE Merseyside (Helping Young People Everywhere) and delivered 6 sessions of activities on Sunday mornings across the summer holidays. Participants could choose between following a trail around the park (walk, run or cycle) or taking part in football coaching sessions (play).
