We’ve just learned that tomorrow’s announcement by Highways England has been leaked a day early due to an error. The decision is that Highways England has opted to build a dual carriageway through Rimrose Valley. We’ve just learned that the Highways England announcement has been delayed until 1st September following a meeting yesterday involving Steve Rotheram, Liverpool Metro Mayor, where he has apparently asked for a postponement. We will report when there is more information
