Amidst gloriously warm and sunny late summer weather, on Sunday 13th September around 30 Rimrose Valley Friends joined Head Ranger Eugene McCann from Sefton Council’s Coast and Countryside Team for another thoroughly enjoyable tour of Rimrose Valley. We got to taste the blackberries, apples, sloe berries, elderberries, applemint, spearmint, hazelnuts and edible nettles.

Thanks so much for everyone who came, it was a delight to be amongst such a great group of people who all share the same love and appreciation for Rimrose Valley.

Here are some recipes for those of you who would like to put your rich pickings to good use:

Blackberry and Apple cordial
Blackberry Jam
Blackberry Mousse
