We wanted to shout out a massive THANK YOU to the organisers and leafletters who got this SCAR leaflet out to 15,000 homes around Rimrose Valley over the last few days. The leaflet was created by SCAR – Sefton Communities against Roadbuilding – to raise awareness and encourage people to respond to the Highways England consultation ‘Option B’ (a dual carriageway through our Rimrose Valley). The people living along the A5036 have also been leafletted with a similar flyer encouraging them to respond to ‘Option A’, the option to further develop the A5036.
SCAR, and Rimrose Valley Friends, strongly believes that neither road option should be allowed and we refuse to allow the communities to become divided. Alternatives must be found that impact neither Rimrose Valley or the A5036 because both options affect all of us in one way or another.
If you haven’t already done so, we would encourage you to respond to the Highways England consultation and join SCAR here so that you can be kept up todate on all matters pertaining to the road threat.
Thank you for your support
