We have received the following notification from Green Sefton regarding upcoming tree works on Rimrose Valley this winter, so wanted to pass this on.

If you have any questions in relation to these works, please email trees@sefton.gov.uk

This winter we will be felling a number of trees in Rimrose Valley (Princess Way end).
The works will include removal of trees that either are already damaging the boundary fencing along Moorhead Close or are likely to damage it if left to stay in situ.
Some trees are structurally unsound, others have fallen in storm and need to be made safe.
Our Tree Team were initially contacted about these trees by some concerned residents of Moorhead Close and Ash Road.
Upon the inspection of the strip running along Moorhead Close and Ash Road we decided to remove certain trees which we considered to be potentially unsafe.
Please see the map below, red dots indicate trees to be removed; yellow dots – trees to be pruned.  Some tree works will be carried out by the entrance from Princess Way (removal of structurally unsound trees and pruning two Limes).
