Date: March 2019

Purpose: To encourage people to get active on their bikes by taking part in an organised ride and repairing/maintaining bikes in need of attention

Delivery Partner: College Cycles, Merseyside Cycling Campaign

Details: This event was all about getting people active and on their bikes. Some riders came from the city centre, others from around the corner, but all had a great time. We worked with a local cycle shop to offer free bike repairs and maintenance, handed out leaflets on the benefits that cycling, and ‘active travel’ in general has on our health and wellbeing and shared council information on cycle routes across the borough. A short film was create by a local student and can be seen here.
