Summary: To deliver a free festival to bring families, friends and strangers together to improve community cohesion in a post COVID-19 world.

Details: This project represented our first opportunity to bring the surrounding communities together, following the COVID-19 pandemic and all of the lockdowns and social restrictions that came with it. The festival featured live music, in the form of local bands and choirs. Activities included a children’s sports day, kids yoga, drumming school, bike maintenance and safety checks and stalls for crafts, community groups and local makers. It also included a wide range of food and drink stalls. The atmosphere on the day was one of joy, thanks and relief at being able to mix with family and friends again, after such a traumatic time.
